The Meath Home
Framed by tall trees, the Meath home is a gracious house set in pleasant grounds. You may wonder about the days when it was a private estate. The place has indeed a fascinating story.

The Meath Home has a particular connection with the family of Oglethorpe.
For the story follow this link.

High Street, Godalming, with decorations celebrating the opening of the Meath Home, by her Royal Highness the Duchess of Albany, 4th August, 1892.
